Proverbs 16:9 — "In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps."

The Lord moves hearts in your favour! 

Let me open today's devotion with my personal experience. We make thousands of decisions daily, don't we?  Often feeling the weight of doing it alone; however, when we wake up early morning to lay it at His feet, pray about it as a family, then you can watch how God moves on your behalf .  He is actively working behind the scenes! Isssssh....—shaping our desires and moving the hearts of others to align with His perfect will.

Testimony: Two women had come to meet me for School cooking job, I had to decide whom to choose, I had no time, it had to be done fast.  That evening and next morning I was continuously praying about this.  Around 8 am the next day, one woman called to say that she will not join today but join the next day.  I felt this was irresponsible reply which led me to choose the other lady.  Yes, God desires to get involved in your life! Don't push Him for Sunday and live your life in your own terms.

Proverbs 16:9 — "In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps."

No human heart is too stubborn, distant, or powerful for God to influence. He can turn a heart of opposition into a heart of favor. Don't you think this is powerful!

Proverbs 21:1 — "In the Lord’s hand the king’s heart is a stream of water that he channels toward all who please him."

Stop trying to force people to change or agree with you. Pray instead for God to move their hearts, especially in tough work or family situations.

But let me conclude this devotion by clearly stating, " God moves, but He does not move in a vacuum. He expects us to actively participate by spending time in prayer, fasting and reading the Word and then proceed.
