Pursue peace!
Daily Delight Devotions

Psalm 34:14, which states: "Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it"

Pursue peace....chase it!

How do you react when people who betrayed you, ill-treated you, mocked you, fought  with you, never felt sorry but seem to proceed with their normal life, as though nothing had happened?

How do you think it feels when you have paid the tuition fees, bought uniform, shoes and educated few students but still they treat you like peanuts? Nevertheless, I'm joyful because my God has not forgotten, He will reward me immeasurably...so move on...Love them and pray for them.

"Let me tell you: do not expect people to change or realize their mistakes. If your peace and joy depend on "that" change, it is never going to happen.

Someone may read the Bible 24 hours but this person may not say sorry to his own brother.  Is someone learning?

Your should depend on Jesus for joy, who is the real joy- giver! Clap hands for God!

Protect your peace by stepping back, spending lot of time in God's Word which would help you do the impossible.  Say Amen.  The world tells you to protect your space, be cautious, and have nothing to do with them. The true challenge, however, is staying in close quarters with the very people who once mocked you, yet still managing to find peace with them and emit peace, joy, and love despite a bitter past. Hallelujah!"

Jesus will help you do that! That's victory friend, not running away! Success is not making million dollars but be able to live in peace with everyone! Stop waiting for people to change and start focusing on moving forward. Enjoy your life to the maximum with God by your side!

Hebrews 12:14: "Pursue peace with everyone, and the holiness without which no one will see the Lord"

When you think of God's pure love for you, the forgiveness He offered you and His grace towards then that should compel us to treat others the same way.

Colossians 3:13: "Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you"
