Psalm 13:1 – "How long, O Lord? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me?"

When I was wondering how do I start this tough rough message, BAM came this statement! God's silence is actually season of observation!

As a principal I can give you a practical example, during exams I very strictly tell the teachers to stay silent, we give ample time for asking questions, read the question paper and then comes silence. No student is allowed to unnecessarily converse with the students. 

I have a very painful memory of how a girl who was copying with bit papers right in the table in front of me during college public exams was asked to get up and then taken out of the huge hall in front of everyone. It's scary, I don't want any of my students to grow up to be like that, hence I train them to be honest and hard working.

Teacher who remains completely silent during an exam— is not because they left the room, but because they are watching to see how the student applies what they have already learned. Likewise, God gives training, it is not easy.....though...

Testimony: Around 5 years back we had booked a hall for Christmas celebration, but asked time to pay advance since we did not have the money.  We prayed hard but nothing was coming, financial situation was very bad. Just two days before the function date, the owner came and said if we don't pay, we can't have the function. No miracle was happening...somehow we paid the money with lot of struggle but still I feel sad because we had no money to feed the students, give them cake or nice things. We finished and left. 

God observes whether your obedience, prayer life, and worship depend entirely on emotional "goosebumps" or on a firm commitment to trust Him at all times.

Fast forward now, God is feeding the same children. He is faithful!
