Equivalent to theft!
Sis Bala Samson

Proverbs 11:1 — "The Lord detests dishonest scales, but accurate weights find favor with him."

Would love to talk on ethics, basic honesty today. What is ethics? Moral principles and values that we follow - do we have values in our life???Acts of greed or selfishness show a lack of empathy, fairness, and civic responsibility.  For a Christian, personal ethics are rooted in the character of God, the teachings of Jesus Christ, and the guidance of Scripture.

Jumping queue in the grocery store, not taking proper bill during purchase of goods are all unethical, this gives room for dishonesty! Ask for bill, pay the necessary tax where needed and be a good citizen rather than a fake Christian. Your salary details on all your documents should be correct , don't give fake details for benefits like " ration items that is meant for low income people." This is equivalent to theft!

Wealthy individuals buying scarce vaccines or medicines through unofficial channels/bribe which delays care for high-risk patients, this is equivalent to theft.

Paying exorbitant school fees for children without asking a single word because you can afford, thereby boosting the overall fees structure which brings huge burden for middle class parents - this is not ethical too.

Wealth is trusted to a person by God to bless others, not as a tool to bypass rules for selfish gain (1 Timothy 6:17-18). Use your wealth not to buy multiple houses but to bless the deprived and the poor.

Isaiah 1:17 — "Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow."
