Psalm 60:11"Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man."
Though we appreciate the surgeon's skill and knowledge but praying fervently for God's guidance, reveals that ultimate healing and the breath of life come from God alone. Say Amen.
David clearly points out in the above scripture " vain is the help of man."
We live in a world that promotes you to cling on to materials, worldly system, modern techniques and skills for help. Just look at the billboards and hoardings that bombard you with retirement plans, life insurance policies and apartments that would offer security. It is alright to plan for them but not at the cost of throwing God away from your life. Are you listening? Don’t allow hyperbolic excesses to mesmerize you; don’t compromise your walk with God for anything in life. We huff and puff to earn and save for the future only to be blown away by the wind and be left abandoned. Remember this, only God is your Helper in trouble.
David sang:"Psalms 63:7”Because You have been my help, Therefore in the shadow of Your wings I will rejoice.”
Testimony:After moving to Hyderabad and when God placed it in our hearts to start a church, we had a tremendous challenge of locating a place, translator and next were souls for the church. Surrounded by heathens and shallow Christians who seldom go to church, it was a Herculean task. We also needed help in printing our telugu songs for overhead projector, believers who promised to help us would back out in the last minute.
It was only through the Help of God that we are able to run SHILOH REVIVAL CHURCH for the last 16 years in the midst of severe opposition. Both my husband and I are now able to directly preach and sing in the local language Telugu. Glory to Jesus!
