Luke 12:33"Provide purses for yourselves that will not wear out, a treasure in heaven that will never fail, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys."

Heavenly purse refers to an eternal, heavenly way of storing value that is immune to the decay and loss of the physical world. We need to invest on 'bags' that will not grow old! Earthly treasures are vulnerable to theft and decay, but investments in the Kingdom (through tithes, offerings, prayers, fasting, reading Bible,  serving God, Church and generosity to the poor) are indestructible. Devil cannot touch it!!! How is your life today?

"Hole in the Bag" (Haggai 1:6) The prophet describes people who "earn wages, only to put them into a purse with holes in it."

Our investments reveal our hearts. We need to be Kingdom minded rather than being penny-wise and pound- foolish. What does that mean? Someone who is extremely careful with small amounts of money (pennies) but reckless or wasteful with large sums (pounds). Oh yeah, you think of your bank balance but your soul is lost . Wake up today!

If today you are facing severe financial problems and may be without a job, pause today and check out your behavior! Bow your head and ask God to change your reckless attitude towards money. The more money you make, the more famous you become, the more would people fall on you like confetti at a wedding. Watch out, as fast as they come, they would ditch you too! Are you listening friends? The money that you hold in your wallet does not belong to you, remember God gave that to you, check out before you spend.

Every time I step out for a purchase: be it ministry, personal or whatsoever, I never fail to humbly seek God’s guidance. Let us be able to say like Apostle Paul: (Philippians 4:11) “…I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content..”

Hey friend, when God is holding your 'MONEY BAG" you need not fear when earthly economy fluctuates. Security comes from God !!
