Be patient with everyone
1 Thessalonians 5:14 And we urge you, brothers and sisters, warn those who are idle and disruptive, encourage the disheartened, help the weak, be patient with everyone.
Instantly and impulsively answering sensitive emails, pouring out your wrath and feelings like Niagara falls is not wisdom, putting everything to rest and pondering is godly wisdom. You may have awesome language skills; nevertheless, SILENCE IS GOLDEN! Anybody listening? It's often better to stay quiet than speak, highlighting the value of quietness for listening, reflection, and avoiding conflict. When you delay your answers and reflect on the situation, it prevents saying hurtful things in anger or upsetting situations, also people respect your silence rather than your debating skills.
Proverbs 14:29
“Whoever is patient has great understanding, but one who is quick-tempered displays folly.”
Bearing with One Another: Ephesians 4:2 instructs believers to be "completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love"
Patience is listed as a Fruit of the Spirit in Galatians 5:22, meaning it is a quality produced by God's Spirit working within a person. You get this ‘patience’ only when you connected with Jesus through daily prayers, reading His Word and fasting. You don’t get this ONLINE.
People who hold umpteen educational qualifications, skills and astute business acumen will fail drastically if they do not have patience. Anybody listening? A leader has to have a blend of patience and perfection: he has to patiently handle the situation, at the same time not compromise on perfection. Let me explain, one particular teacher who joined our school, initially would come ten minutes late daily and say,’ just ten minutes madam’, so I told her,” I expect people to come 5 minutes early and not ten minutes late.’ Slowly she changed and now none, I repeat none of my teachers come late. At the same time, I have my fun time with my teachers, they listen to me preach the Gospel so God is working in their hearts. Jesus wants us to be a "beacon of light" in this lost, dark world, which means a source of guidance, hope, inspiration, or knowledge that helps others navigate through difficult, dark, or confusing times, much like a lighthouse that guides ships. Hallelujah!!!!
We are not here to prove our point, be rude, fight, quarrel and argue but God has blessed us so that we be kind, generous in love, forgive, encourage and be like our Master.
This world today needs Leaders who can patiently handle the community and society not belligerent, brilliant individuals who ruin everything.
