Acts 9:17 “Then Ananias went to the house and entered it. Placing his hands on Saul, he said, “Brother Saul, the Lord—Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you were coming here—has sent me so that you may see again and be filled with the Holy Spirit.”
Though we have good, beautiful eyes, many have not read the Bible and are comfortable with worldly accolades like apostle Paul. Paul was a learned, skilled and brilliant man but he had no knowledge of Christ, therefore, his eyes had to be opened AGAIN to see Christ and His works. That is what we read in the above scripture.
When I shared the miraculous healing that I received through the birth of my son Joshua with an elderly person and glorified God, he smugly replied that all women go through problems during delivery and for few it may be extreme and my miracle was no big deal; he dismissed my healing as just a coincidence. Sadly he was not able to see God in my miracle!
I am speaking to someone out there today! I have shared the Gospel interwoven with my numerous testimonies with you each day; yet for few, the doubts, fear and worries still linger on! Some feel ‘such’ miracles happen only for the selected few, that is wrong notion, you have failed to grasp the power of God in the miracle, instead of reading my testimonies as an interesting incident or an excellent piece of writing, please do see the power of God.
Living in an era of rapid advancement of technology, the eyes of people have been closed to understand the power of God. I went to see an aunt who had just undergone an operation for cancer treatment; I was surprised to see her pleasantly sitting on the bed with no sign of operation. She had underdone operation through Laparoscopic surgery, though expensive; yet, these include reduced pain due to smaller incisions and shorter recovery time. With such treatments available today, people are more keen in enrolling themselves for a good ‘medical insurance’ scheme rather than being committed to Church and God. Let me share another incident with you, when the daughter had an accident, the father very proudly declared, ‘all her expenses will be reimbursed because she is sufficiently covered under medical insurance scheme.’ Friend, let me warn you, there comes a time in our life when no medical insurance can cover our expenses or our wounds except His Hands! Warning! I invite you to set right your life, drop the negative feelings towards God and come closer to Him to develop a personal relationship with Him.
After the birth of my second son and having escaped the pangs of death, when I joined back work with the multinational bank, my view was totally different. I was looking at everyone not as rebellious, rich people but as lost souls. We who were once spiritually blind have now received our sight. Now we see things we didn’t before. Things which once confused us make perfect sense. God bless you!
