Title:Overflow!
RIPE ALMONDS!

Numbers 17:8 “The next day Moses entered the tent and saw that Aaron’s staff, which represented the tribe of Levi, had not only sprouted but had budded, blossomed and produced almonds.”

There would be an overflow of blessings covering every area of your life! Say Hallelujah! God would release the flood gates of Heaven and pour down His blessings on your family.  Since you have been faithful, patient, endured sufferings, kind, gentle and obedient, now God would fulfil His promises for you. He is an unchanging God, covenant keeping God and a God who would never fail. Say Amen.

I tell you I was wowed with the above scripture, God not only made the rod of Aaron sprout but he made it bud, blossom and produce almonds. Wow and wow! Ephesians 3:20 “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.” Let me unpack this for you. The previous chapter under the leadership of rebellious people like Korah, Dathan and Abiram rebelled against God and His leaders : Moses and Aaron.  Because of this we read about the saddest thing that happened which is the earthquake that swallowed the rebellious people who stood against Moses and Aaron.  Now the Lord desired to reveal His true leaders so He chose the tribe of Levi and did such a supernatural thing. Now why the tribe of Levi and not the others?  The name Levi means “attached.” This meaning is significant. Anybody listening? God would lift the heads of people who are ATTACHED to Him not the ones who open the Bible only in church on a Sunday.  

All the 12 staffs that were brought to Him were just a piece of wood, dead, broken and brought to God. God told Moses “Numbers 17:5 The staff belonging to the man I choose will sprout, and I will rid myself of this constant grumbling against you by the Israelites.” However, you know what happened, “the rod of Aaron not only sprouted but had budded, blossomed and produced almonds.” Glory to Jesus! Friend, God will bless you in such a way that everyone will see and know the source of blessings is God, read: 9 “Then Moses brought out all the staffs from the Lord’s presence to all the Israelites. They looked at them, and each of the leaders took his own staff.” They looked at the rod and they were awestruck, I guess. Imagine ripe almonds hanging from the rod. Wow!

Hey friend, God will prepare a table in front of your enemies! None can open their mouth against you! Please God in all ways and watch Him unwrap wonders for you! When you depend on your head knowledge and your muscle power then it would add another layer to the puzzle, rather than solve it. Trust Jesus only!!!!

I was standing in a church and watched heavy anointing sweep over the church when a particular pastor came to preach, the presence of God filled the entire auditorium.  Just a second ago, the atmosphere was normal but the moment this pastor came to the pulpit, the scene changed – heaven came down. I stood there flummoxed! During his sermon the pastor said, “ I completed the Bible 7 times last year as I promised God.’ I got the answer now! Your blessings come from your attachment with God and His Word! May your life sprout, bud, blossom and produce lovely almonds! Blessed New Year – 2026!
