Turquoise stone!
Daily Delight Devotions
Sis Bala Samson
December 29, Monday

Isaiah 54:21 " I will build you with stones of turquoise.."

Turquoise is an opaque, blue-to-green mineral prized for millennia as a cherished gemstone. Revered for its calming, protective, and prosperous symbolism, it is a 5,000-year-old, soft, porous stone primarily sourced from Iran, the US (Arizona, Nevada), and China.

Somehow I liked the above words of God when He very clearly uses the Word 'I will build you with stones of turquoise', so I started digging deep to find more.

You know what, God knows what you went through, the pain, loneliness , agony, uncertainty and angst, the above scripture opens like this: "Afflicted city, lashed by storms and not comforted, I will rebuild you!" Look at that!  Now when He rebuilds you for enduring the 'storms', its going to be precious not just ordinary.  Claps hands for God!

Following the 2008 terror attacks, the
Taj Mahal Palace Hotel in Mumbai underwent a massive restoration project that involved several prominent foreign architectural and design firms working alongside local experts. The restoration of the iconic heritage wing was completed over 21 months at an estimated cost of ₹1.75 billion ($37.3 million). A New Delhi-based organization that painstakingly restored nearly 300 pieces of smoke- and water-damaged artwork. The fully restored Palace wing was officially reopened on August 15, 2010, to coincide with India's Independence Day with renewed splendor. I write this devotion on December 28, which happens to be Mr Ratan Tata's birthday who worked on Taj restoration.

God will change ruin into splendor! Your broken life would be rebuilt! God will use these precious stones like Turquoise to reinforce the foundation and beautify it too! You are precious to God!  God uses the "storms" of life to prepare a foundation of greater strength and beauty than what was there before.

We read in Revelation 21:18–21, where the foundations of the city wall are similarly adorned with every kind of precious stone. Say Amen.

Through the above scripture God tells His people, " when I lay my Hands on you to rebuild you, to rejuvenate you, to restore you, to renew you and beautify you.... it's not going to be ' ordinary ' but I will do ' extraordinary' things in your life and show my great love and care for you". Amen!
