GOSHEN IS YOUR SECURITY

Genesis 47:1 “Then Joseph went in and told Pharaoh, and said, "My father and my brothers and their flocks and their herds and all that they have, have come out of the land of Canaan; and behold, they are in the land of Goshen."

Goshen was a place where God’s protection was visible, people saw, felt and knew that Goshen was safe.  God demonstrated His ability to protect His chosen people while judging Egypt. Say Amen. We read the testimony in Exodus 9:6: “All the livestock of Egypt died; but of the livestock of the children of Israel (inside Goshen), not one died.” Hallelujah! Did you see that?

I want to quote another scripture before I delve into the Word, the Lord told Joseph: “You shall dwell in the land of Goshen, and you shall be near me, you and your children and your children’s children, and your flocks, your herds, and all that you have. There I will provide for you, for there are yet five years of famine to come, so that you and your household, and all that you have, do not come to poverty.” Genesis 45:10-11 .Hallelujah! 
When you patiently wait for God, obey Him, please Him in all your ways, endure hardships, persevere in the midst of hardship without quitting, when you believe in the dark and hope in His goodness and mercy then let me tell you, God will do amazing things that you just cannot comprehend. Clap your hands for God! Apostle Paul said, what God has prepared for you ““No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.” 1 Corinthians 2:9 Amen.

In the above scripture, after several years, God brought back the entire family of Joseph along with their flocks and their herds also back to him. They walk into the country where Joseph was the Commander and Joseph settled them in Goshen, God will bring back your loved ones whom you had lost back to you! Just believe that today! God will bring back your husband from the clutches of the woman whom he is involved with, God will bring back good workers who left you, He will bring back your church members, friends, business partners, God will bring healing back to your body and much more. The money, property and the loss you suffered will be reversed in the name of Jesus! Say Amen. Mental illness will be cured and God will give wisdom, God will remove the curses and make up for all the loss.

Train your children to be inside ‘Goshen’ and not dare to transgress away from it, they should understand that there are protection, provision and progress only when you stay inside Goshen. How does one stay in Goshen? Intimacy with God starts with regular Bible reading, prayer, fasting, Church and connecting with good fellowships even during the week. That is Goshen! When my daughter was asked to conduct intercessory prayer for 45 minutes in the Bible college where she works as Lecturer, she did it passionately because we had already trained her in our Shiloh Revival Church for several years. Train your children in spiritual activities rather than in worldly stuff.

The umpteen houses, gold and bank balance are not your security only GOSHEN is your security!
