BLESSED DECEMBER!

God is our Rescuer, Saviour and Father!

Ezekiel 34:12 :As a shepherd looks after his scattered flock when he is with them, so will I look after my sheep. I will rescue them from all the places where they were scattered on a day of clouds and darkness.”

We have to come to the end of this year and will be embarking into the New year in few days, it's a time for reflecting the goodness of God in the past year, His loving kindness and His Hands which were ready to rescue us from the plethora of dangers that would have swallowed us by now. Think! He is our Rescuer!

Hey friend, there are days of clouds and darkness, when the enemy attacks the victim when he is vulnerable and weak, like the way he attacked David’s mind when he came to the balcony.  Therefore the Lord equips his children and sends them out in this wicked world, to rescue the lost.

2 Samuel 22:35, "He trains my hands for battle, so that my arms can bend a bow of bronze,"
God provides the strength and ability to overcome great challenges. The "bow of bronze" is something extremely difficult or strong that a person would normally be unable to bend, indicating that divine help makes the impossible possible. Hurray!

My testimony: I was conducting an afternoon prayer cell in the terrace of our bank while I just launched into ministry, after salvation.  Every person I shared the Gospel were tormented, mocked and stopped from attending the prayer.  People who were friends earlier with me turned away from me and started attacking me from behind. I moved away from the crowd since there was too much of muck in the conversation and started having my lunch alone, now people started coming to me for counselling and personal prayer.  My ministry was birthed there, prayer, fasting and Bible reading were indispensable spiritual weapons that I needed to do for this warfare.  I understood I need to pray more……if I had to rescue people from the clutches of satan. It’s truly beyond words to encapsulate the depth of my gratitude towards God who has time and again miraculously rescued and helped me in the daily activities of our ministry where we deal with alcoholic and violent parents.

The Bible says : 2 Timothy 4:18: "The Lord will rescue me from every evil deed and bring me safely into his heavenly kingdom".

Psalm 50:15: "Call upon me in the day of trouble; I will rescue you, and you shall glorify me".
