Measured back to you

Matthew 7:2 in the Bible says, "For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you".

I want to concentrate on the last segment of this scripture:
"with the measure you use it will be measured to you".

Galatians 6:7 “Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap.” The harsh situation in our life, severe crisis and miseries may be red flags by God to point out our errors and arrogance, God want us to realize , repent and transform.  So instead of shooing away the problems , let us analyse’ why has it been allowed by God in the first place.’ Are you hearing?

God is serious that we meet His standards, what makes us think that we can do anything and get away? The way we do ministry will be measured, the way we conduct our family will be measured, the way we worship in the church will be measured, the way we bring up our children will be measured, the way we talk will be measured. You are in His radar all the time!

Psalm 139:1 You have searched me, Lord,
and you know me.
2 You know when I sit and when I rise;
you perceive my thoughts from afar."
Anybody listening?

I have been kind of emphasizing on this subject over and over again because "God wants us to be conscious and careful in the way we conduct ourselves. " If God smells arrogance then He will deal with it severely. Caveat! Today we are surrounded by social media that projects arrogance, aggressiveness, pugnacity and audacity as traits essential to make it in this competitive world but God fills the Bible with teachings that tell us to be humble, gentle and tolerant.

The loud ones will definitely get back in return what they spat on others. If you are rude with your parents and elders, God will make sure you get a double-rude boss who will humiliate and scream at you in front of others so that you learn a lesson. Anybody listening? Share this sermon far and wide.

At any point of time, if you are facing a very difficult and unmanageable person: it can be your spouse, daughter or any family member, go down on your knees and ask God to show where you have erred and repent. God can change the situation when you humble yourself !
