VOICE OF GOD
Revelation 3:20 “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.”
James 1:19“Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger.”
The moment you come to know it is damaging and sabotaging your faith, you got to stop listening to such words, like: it will not work anymore, it is serious condition, doctors have given up hope, hopeless situation etc., these phrases are quiet opposite to what your God says:
• You are healed by His stripes
• I can do all things through Jesus Christ who gives me the strength
• Nothing is impossible with God
• Greater is He that is in me than He that is in the world
• Speak to the mountain and it shall be moved
John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.
When things turned out scary and ugly, king Hezekiah turned to prophet Isaiah for prayer and guidance, the Lord sent a word through His prophet who said: ‘do not be afraid because of the words that you have heard.’ (2 Kings 19:6) Amen. Hallelujah! God looks at each one of you today and says: ‘don’t worry of the words that you hear around the globe today: war, earthquake, missiles, death, lay-offs and so on…In the midst of this ambiguous, uncertain, unclear, shaky and gloomy days, He wants you to trust in Him and in His promises. Glory to Jesus! Luke 11:28 But he said, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and keep it!”
While five months pregnant with my second child, strictly the doctors declared that the baby had to be aborted, because of the multiple fibroids that were choking my baby. During this time, Bible and Jesus entered my life, I started focusing on God’s promises more than the words of the doctor. God honored my faith, healed me and I delivered a baby boy Joshua. Romans 10:17 So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.
John 8:47 Whoever is of God hears the words of God….
Do not be afraid because of the words that you have heard. Keep replaying only the words of Jesus in your mind! Psalm 85:8 “Let me hear what God the LORD will speak, for he will speak peace to his people, to his saints; but let them not turn back to folly.
