Received them – FAITH IN ACTION
Mark 11:24"Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted you.”
When God opens your spiritual eyes, you start seeing the world differently. I tell you, it’s gorgeous! You are able to look at the people who mocked you earlier with love and compassion, your heart breaks to see sinners and you begin to read the Bible with passion. It is no more the ‘big fat Bible’ but a love letter from God. Wow!
The above scripture revolutionized my life. I read the above verse in the ‘EMERGENCY WARD’ of the hospital. You listen well to His voice in the hospital because of your brokenness, you have none but Him. I literally took the words ‘believe that you have received them’ to heart. The word ‘received’ in past tense made a great impact on me, well, it was the NIV version that I read but my understanding was like an obedient student. If the Bible said ‘received’ then there is nothing more to it. Anybody listening to me?
God is simply excited to see your faith in action, now, He starts moving! Amen. James 2:17”… faith without action is dead.” If you are going to be just an ordinary Christian with no action, then nothing supernatural happens, the moment you put your faith into action then God begins to work on your behalf. “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” “Yes, Lord,” they replied. Matthew 9:28 God is asking the same question to you today: Do you believe that I am able to do this?
Testimony: The doctors told me while I was around 4 and half months pregnant that I have multiple fibroids in the inner and outer layer of my uterus and that I have to abort my baby. Now by then, I have started reading the Bible in the emergency ward night and day. Clap hands for God! God had entered my life! I told my husband first, “ I will not agree for abortion because as per the Bible I believe I already ‘RECEIVED’ healing. Everyone were going crazy with me, I kept declaring, announcing to nurses, and everyone, ‘I am already healed’. I was brought home in a stretcher and kept at home. The result: Pastor Joshua was born hale and healthy through normal delivery. Today ABIDE SCHOOL celebrates 14 th anniversary and the feat was achieved through HIS grace and faith.
