VIGOROUS
Exodus 1:9" Hebrew women are not like Egyptian women, they are vigorous and gave birth before the midwives arrive."
Do you see what I see? The Hebrew women were vigorous , lively , robust, healthy and strong. Who wants a lazy woman that wakes up late and completely sabotages the entire day: there's tension at home, no proper food cooked, children go late to school - overall everything becomes a mess. On the other hand if the woman is energetic and lively, the entire family is blessed and the men folks would definitely respect such women.
The Bible says: Exodus 1:11 So they put slave masters over them to oppress them with forced labor, and they built Pithom and Rameses as store cities for Pharaoh. 12 But the more they were oppressed, the more they multiplied and spread; so the Egyptians came to dread the Israelites.." Look at that - the more they were oppressed, the more the Israelites were getting productive ....
If you want to stay away from stress, strain and pain then you are missing out on real strength, are you hearing me? Escapism is for cowards but the real challenge is to stay and face the problem.. Be it church ministry, business, college, new project, new job, marriage, relationships, children….whatever, God is able to get you through. Real strength! I am not talking about muscle power, gym power, street smart, energy drink power, sharp acumen, I am talking about ‘strength’ that you receive from going through sufferings, agony, sickness and emotional strain.
I have had two major operations, after every operation though the doctors had recommended for 6 months rest, God had raised me from the bed within three months and made me run again, this is not for everyone though, don’t try it, when God picks you from the bed then with it comes the energy and stamina too. Glory to Jesus! Hey Beautiful, don’t stay in the bed for too long, get up and move on, I am speaking to someone who feels very low. Real strength comes from God!
Major Sita Ashok Shelke is reportedly the only woman officer in the 70-member team from Army's Madras Engineering Group from Bengaluru.
Major Seeta Shelke, along with her team of Indian Army Engineers took just 16 hours to build the 190-feet Bailey Bridge across Iruvazhinji river, connecting the landslide-hit Chooralmala and Mundakkai in Wayanad district of Kerala. The bridge has the capacity to carry 24 tonnes.
The Madras Engineer Group (MEG) and Centre overcame the loads of debris, uprooted trees and a rapidly flowing river to complete the construction of the bridge, and Major Seeta Ashok Shelke was there leading the group of soldiers as they worked tirelessly. " During times of crisis, we need such grit, determination and resilience.
After Ruth Graham's death at age 87 who died after illness , "Ruth was my life partner, and we were called by God as a team," Billy Graham said in a statement. "No one else could have borne the load that she carried. She was a vital and integral part of our ministry, and my work through the years would have been impossible without her encouragement and support."
We need such powerful women today!
