Matthew 20:29”As they were leaving Jericho, a large crowd followed Him. 30 And two blind men sitting by the road, hearing that Jesus was passing by, cried out, "Lord, have mercy on us, Son of David!"

Nothing is more sad than a missed opportunity! Sit up for a powerful word today! God sends golden opportunities for all of us; nevertheless, very few grab that and make more from it. In the above scripture, we see that a large crowd followed Jesus but only two blind men cried out loud, ‘Lord have mercy on us. Son of David.’ These blind men knew who He was, glory to Jesus.  They understood that Jesus was no ordinary person but Son of David, who could heal them.  They made use of that opportunity.  They followed Jesus until Jesus stopped,  turned back and asked them,” "What do you want Me to do for you?" Hallelujah!  Wow, this is called relentless pursuing! Pray until you get the answer, Amen. I am excited!
Quote by George Muller, ‘If we desire our faith to be strengthened, we should not shrink from opportunities where our faith may be tried, and therefore, through trial, be strengthened.’

Don’t get discouraged by outside noises, the two blind men did not get distracted by the crowd that sternly told them to be quiet(verse 31); however, they kept moving forward.  These two men were blind but not blind to the one in a million opportunity that was right in front of them.  Jesus was not going to pass by every day, are you listening?

During the initial days of our salvation, as husband and wife we were on fire on hot pursuit for God ( we are more hotter today).  Leaving behind my infant son Joshua and teenage daughter with my maid, we went to attend ‘all night prayer’ conducted by Prophet Ezekiah Francis, from 10 pm to 5 am.  We did not want to miss the golden opportunity, the crowd that turned up was not much, prophet himself was not very happy; however, two people ( Bala and Samson) attended the meeting with commitment and later started ‘Night prayer in that same city of their own, that produced pastors and Evangelists’ .  Say Amen. Make use of the opportunity in front of you!

Don’t waste your time chatting with your friends and on movies, study more, learn more and achieve more. 2 Chronicles 16:9 “For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him.”
