You will not be insulted anymore

Ezekiel 36:15"I will not let you hear insults from the nations anymore, nor will you bear disgrace from the peoples any longer.”

The above promise by God is absolutely delicious! I look at the above words like mouth-watering, succulent sweets! Wow, You will not be insulted, disgraced, blamed, humiliated, shamed any more! This right here deserves a loud applause for God! If there is someone out there who is going through hurts, pain and disgrace, God is about the turn them to grace.  Hallelujah! I was particularly blessed by the above promise of God, I hope you are blessed too.

Hannah is harassed at Shiloh through Peninnah, who hurts her deeply with sharp words.  Anybody experienced sharp words? The wife was trying her best to change her attitude and patch the relationship; however, the husband looked at the wife and said, ““a leopard never changes its spots”, which meant you will never change. Those were daggers aimed to crush her spirit, the demon has kept people around us to speak the exact words that would shatter us. Isn’t it? Hey, you are not appreciated for the achievements but the moment you stumble a bit, 1000 fingers are ready to accuse you. People wait to expose your weakness and thereby pounce upon you, be careful!

If God wants to do a great work in your life, He first has to get your attention, and make you a vessel of honor to receive the blessing. Hannah deeply depressed, weeps bitterly and gets into the Presence of God. May be you would have wept earlier but that was out of self-pity, the ‘poor me’ tears, but now Hannah got up to weep at the feet of the Lord. When sudden disaster strikes your life, I dare you to look at the mess in your life and tell that mess, ‘you are going to bring me closer to God.’ If your marriage is on the rocks, your body is racked with pain, bankruptcy and failures are all means to bring you to the place where God desires you.

Hannah through her deep affliction makes a vow, 1 Samuel 1: 11 "O LORD of hosts, if you will indeed look on the affliction of your servant and remember me and not forget your servant, but will give to your servant a son, then I will give him to the LORD all the days of his life, and no razor shall touch his head." After this prayer, she left that place with joy. Do you know the reason? God filled her with peace! She was not the weeping, bitter Hannah any more, she had changed in the presence of the Lord! Hallelujah! It was not over, after the birth of her son Samuel, she kept up her word and delivered the boy at the feet of the Lord.

If only we make an effort to walk out of comfort and climb the mountain of prayer, our experience would be much more bewildering and captivating than the beauty of the Himalayas! Once at His feet, there would be no turning back!
