Can I live a successful and a purposeful life? I have wasted so many years; will I be able to shine like them?” I thought to myself looking at those teenagers who have dedicated their lives at a very young age to do the work of God.  It seems absolutely impossible to reach the position acquired by those people who have started working hard at a very young age. I despised myself for not listening to instructions, and obeying them at a young age; not until later do we realize the reality of life itself, and the damages that needs to be fixed before we actually move on!

Are you in a similar situation and finding it impossible to do something outstanding with your life? Has your past affected your life so much that you feel so tiny and inadequate to achieve anything in life? Have you been named hopeless by people? Well, let me tell you what God says, you were chosen before the foundation of the world (Ephesians 1:4), your past cannot affect your future after you have come under the protective wings of Jesus! Did you know he is a way maker, game changer and promise keeper! After you come to God, he will change your story and literally anything is possible, if you make him your shepherd. In the gospel of John, we see Philip announcing to his friend Nathaniel, about the arrival of Jesus of Nazareth, and Nathaniel replies “Nazareth! Can anything good come from there?” Nazareth had been written off by the people as a place where nothing big or great happens, no record of any achievement; however, God chose a place such as that, to fulfill his promise.

People are going to see, what good can come from you! Matthew 2:6 says, “ But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah; for out of you will come a ruler who will shepherd my people Israel”. God chose Bethlehem, the least among the tribes, and he chose you my friend, and nothing can change that, not even your past! You are by no means least among them! The enemy tries to distract you by telling you how bad you were or how good others are, he is a liar. Trust God, and he will turn your life upside down!
