Word today:

Does the rod have a voice?  Yes it has.  Every rod that comes upon you has a voice, it is the voice of God speaking through the rod, you have to have the discernment to find out the reason for the rod and know for sure that the rod was appointed  by the One who looks for your transformation.  That divorce, marital discord, failure, financial mess, betrayal unruly kid, sickness are all rods appointed by God so that you look up at Him.

The storm was the ROD appointed by God for Jonah and he was able to identify that the rod (storm) was meant for him because he had disobeyed God and that’s why he says, ‘throw me into the sea.’  Not many  are able to hear the rod, am I right? COVID 19 is the ROD appointed by God on the world to turn them to Him and bring them to repentance.  But people seldom look at God behind it and they continue with their wicked life style,  just wishing that CORONA will go away by magic.  It is the work of the Christian ministers to explain the Bible to the people and encourage them to obey and fear God.

I got a call from the hospital from a hindu convert man that his wife suddenly fainted and she was admitted in the hospital, the doctors informed that she had a brain hemorrhage and she went into coma.  This woman though she had tasted the goodness of God and had been delivered from several demons; yet, she refused to go to church or leave idols. I continuously warned her but she disobeyed and now the ‘the rod’ of God had come upon her, though I prayed for them, but I clearly explained that they had to repent immediately and plead God for His mercy.

Look at the rod as a disciplinary rod by a Father and not as punishment, don’t rebel but say like  David: “Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.”(Psalm 23:4)

God bless you!
