All things to all men

1 Corinthians 9:22”To the weak I became weak, that I might win the weak; I have become all things to all men, so that I may by all means save some.”

Boy! Can one scripture create rapid ripples in your heart, yes…the above scripture did for me!  It melted me……squeezed my heart and made me sob for the people lost without Christ…I woke up crying with the thought of all the people I have been praying for several years.  Some of them have blocked me from their lives because I shared the Gospel with them; however, that particular morning, Holy Spirit moved in my heart to reach out to them again and again.  In Luke 14:23, the Bible tells us to ‘COMPEL’ people and bring them to the House of God.

Sometimes while praying for the lost ones in our family, friends circle, college, neighbors and in our life, we feel, they ignored me, they humiliated me, they disrespected me, they rejected me, they hurt me, they mocked me and so on, thereby we get discouraged, this is the work of the enemy to stop us from praying.  Are you listening?  Look at the enormous times the word ‘ME’ has taken over the feelings for others, in verse 19, Paul said: ‘I have made myself a slave to all, so that I may win more.’ Isn’t this wonderful?  This scripture should set us free from all bitterness, anger and every kind of heaviness and stir our burden to pray and reach out to the people who hurt and rejected us.

I know working people have dead lines to meet at work, look after family, children and plethora of other work; however, this message comes to your desk to remind you of the most predominant and precious work that God has put it in our heart to reach out to the lost and bring them to Christ.  This work is just not for the people in ministry alone, it is for all, talking about Christ is religion feel some people…..no…no…..be brave to share the wonderful things that God has done in your life.  God bless you!
