2 Corinthians 10:3”….for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but we have divine power for the destruction of fortresses.”

I tell you when I read the above scripture this evening, I felt ‘powerful’ as though I was equipped solidly to handle the ‘pressure & tension” that I was under, as Apostle Paul tells us in the above scripture that we have DIVINE POWER! Say Amen.  Hey friend, you have divine power to destroy that torture and horror you are going through.  You don’t need spear, gun, doctor or police force to destroy that enemy, all the power that you need is already within you – just fast and pray. Utilize that divine power!  Say Hallelujah!

Today I read in the newspaper of how a young man slits the throat of a 19 year old young girl because she refused him, I felt ‘this’ devil could have been destroyed if that girl had come under the authority of Jesus Christ.  Beginning this year, I was severely attacked on all sides physically and emotionally – if not for this DIVINE POWER that I got from the reading of His Word, I would have collapsed and gone bonkers.  Let someone get the lesson from my experience, I knew in my spirit though, that I need to silently do this warfare because I had an assignment to accomplish in the month of May as I was preaching on all four days in a powerful ‘Leadership Camp” organized by us.  I say this with integrity, I just stayed silent and spend a lot of time in the church fasting and praying, I read the book of Philippians alone 75 times, would you like to know the EFFECT? I punched the enemy in the nose because the Camp was amazingly successful with the mighty power of God over all of us.  (Click HERE to hear one of the messages)

Well today, I felt I needed this divine power more and more, so I stayed back after school hours, sat in my office room and started reading the rest of the chapters loudly- it was awesome.  I was struggling this morning to pray because so many things were running in my mind, I claimed Isaiah 26:3 “You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you because he trusts in you.” Confession of scriptures helped me spend time in the presence of God and draw strength from His divine power, just today I had spent minimum 2 hours reading the Word.  Now you know from where you get DIVINE POWER to destroy strongholds!
