A time to keep silent

There is “A time to keep silent, and a time to speak” - Ecclesiates 3:7

The devil loves to provoke you and also press the right button to instigate emotions in you and thereby walk and say things contrary to God.  I am 100 percent sure that  someone out there needs this word and it would bring enormous blessing in your life, if only you get the art of clamping your mouth, don’t you ever think I write this piece, without going through the fire of being taunted and tormented for talking the right things.

Listen!  Not just fighting, quarreling, debating, arguing, justifying, murmuring, complaining, gossiping, back-biting but also discussing!  What you discuss with ‘x,y,z’ would one day travel to A – Z.  Take it from me.  Jabber-mouths would not be protected, which means, when you refuse to remain silent, God would send you deceitful people (whom you think are reliable) to listen to your stories and then broadcast them.  “This is what she did and this is what I said’ – all this needs to stop.  Some things needs to be buried.  This silence also includes all the social media outlets, stay away from unwanted comments and unfavorable stuff that would create bitterness. God would work on your behalf, if you would only stay faithful for Him.

Wow!  The peace I got when I not only shut my mouth but also remained silent on social media is boundless and immeasurable.  Try it.  You know what, I even shudder to travel with some men/women of God in the car or train, because they would keep jabbing and jabbing until my ears drums break, but there are few people who may not be great but I love to be with them, because they talk less.

Proverbs 17:27 The one who has knowledge uses words with restraint, and whoever has understanding is even-tempered.
