Mathew 8:28”…two men who were demon-possessed met Him as they were coming out of the tombs. They were so extremely violent that no one could pass by that way.”

The enemy tries to project himself as big, terrible, scary, eerie and daunting and thereby keep people far away so that at no cost the ‘Truth’ reaches them.  Are you able to see this with spiritual eyes?  People were scared to go near them but the fact is the devils used ‘fear’ to camouflage themselves, they in fact wanted to live inside the bodies of the two men and hence kept them away from people.

What I am about to tell you might shock you but listen to my personal experience – I happened to enter into the home of a hindu family to pray for them, what started as just a small step actually led me to something really big.  That family was under terrible witchcraft spell which I came to know later, when I told them, ‘can I pray?’ the eldest son of that family said, ‘we are scared, because someone is watching us from the opposite side.’  Stirred by the Holy Spirit, I went to their house alone at 3 pm in the afternoon.  I assured him that no one was there, but the entire family were soaked with fear.  This is what the enemy would do to you – scare you, humiliate you, mock you, push you to the corner and crush you; nevertheless, I continued to visit them now along with my husband.  They were unable to eat or sleep, when they tried to eat, food turned to sand (in their eyes) and all the clothes gave them a burning sensation, therefore they had not taken a bath for several months when I met them.  We gave them a Bible and prayed over the clothes and  the entire home, BANG - God gave them deliverance.  Glory to Jesus!  When we walked in, the curses, witchcraft and fear had to walk out, we also took them all to church and introduced them to the pastor.  Hallelujah!  Don’t fear the enemy’s tactics, stay firm under the shelter of God’s wings.

People would sometimes also raise their voices and behave brashly thereby keeping us away from them, these are the enemies gimmicks, go beyond the barriers and reach out to the lost in your family and locality.  David was not intimidated by the loud threatening of Goliath, he focused on the magnificence of the Lord he served.  People of God should never be intimidated by bragging, boasting and bullying because you serve a BIG GOD.  Amen.  (1 Samuel 17:8)   Go and possess the land!
