When maniacs turn to God

Luke 8:35”The people went out to see what had happened; and they came to Jesus, and found the man from whom the demons had gone out, sitting down at the feet of Jesus, clothed and in his right mind; and they became frightened.”

The man who was possessed with 6000 demons, after he was delivered by Jesus, was now clothed, washed, neat, clean and in the right mind, now look what happens, instead of making friends with him the crowd were scared of him.  Isn’t that crazy?  Now, I would like to quote the words of Jesus here: Mathew 10:33 “But whoever denies Me before men, I will also deny him before My Father in heaven.: 34Do not assume that I have come to bring peace to the earth; I have not come to bring peace, but a sword.”  You got to have spiritual maturity to comprehend the words of Jesus, if the man had left the place after saluting Jesus for the deliverance and miracle, then that would be norm( many do that today – don’t they?) but look what he did:

V 38 “the man from whom the demons had gone out was begging Jesus that he might accompany Him..” He did not just ask but was begging Jesus, my dear friend, when you have a real encounter with Jesus, your life would never be the same and you become a terror for the society.  Terror not because you kill people but because you start loving the society and the transformation scares people around you, do you have that experience?  I write this message for people who are going through persecutions and troubles because of their close walk with God and their service for Him.  Anybody listening?  Let this not surprise you or dishearten you, did not Jesus say, Mathew 5:11"Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me.”

I was never prepared for the ISOLATION that would follow me when I started my part time ministry while I was still working for the bank.  My friends walked out on me, my relatives failed to understand me and many more sufferings and betrayals choked me and I wondered, ‘why do people hate me just when I have become nice and good?’  May be there’s someone out there who has that same question, let this message comfort and encourage you not to quit but to get closer to Jesus, it is now that you have to pray for people around you, are you listening?  Don’t get frustrated, God is watching everything, He would set things right for you as He did for me, it may take time but He would surely do it.  PATIENTLY AND FAITHFULLY TRUST JESUS TO WORK OUT THINGS FOR YOU!
