Poured it over HIS head!

Matthew 26:8 And when the disciples saw it, they were indignant, saying, "Why this waste?
Mark 14:3”………she broke the flask and poured it over his head.”

Note:  Just few days to go for the AIC camp,(CLICK AIC to view details) working, studying hard and preparing for the camp,May 8-11, 4 days – pray and sow for this ministry of raising ‘leaders and soldiers for Christ.’

I wonder how Jesus felt when Mary walked into the home of Simon the leper with trembling lips and faltering steps! How did you feel when you had to meet a person whom you love MOST? I’m sure you can’t do a cat walk there! Dignity takes a walk! Are you listening? I’m sure she felt embarrassed in the midst of men staring at her; yet, her love for Jesus ignored everything – her focus was not on how she felt but on how Jesus had forgiven her.  Love never ends! (1 Corinthians 13:8) She thought of how He walked into her life and washed her with His blood…..she thought of how He never remembered her sins but just wiped them clean and forgave her…..she thought of how He came after her, chased her, wooed her and saved her……………….she thought of how he walked into her life when everyone despised her and scorned her………..she thought of how He gave her a new beginning………….just when she thought all was over, a King came into her life and gave a fresh lease of life!  While she thought of His love, people around her thought of her past life and loathed her. When Mary spotted Jesus sitting in the table, floods of love surged in her heart and she just broke the flask – no time to open the lid, though – and poured it over His head! People around were stunned by her jaw-dropping action that demonstrated openly her love for Jesus! I love this phrase ‘poured it over His Head!  The fact is – Jesus was floored!  He was thunder-struck and He said: "Leave her alone. Why do you trouble her? She has done a beautiful thing to me.”  Notice what He said again: Jesus called her act a beautiful thing!  Anything is worth for this statement!

When was the last time you poured this kind of love over His head? I mean, when people look at you and say, ‘why so much of prayer when you are still not married? Why so much of fasting when you don’t even have a good job? Why so much of preparation when you hardly have a good crowd in your church?’  Don’t mind about the words of the crowd that say, ‘it is a waste’, think of His words that said, ‘it is beautiful!’
