In all directions

Genesis 39:5    “It came about that from the time Potiphar made Joseph overseer in his house and over all that he owned, the LORD blessed the Egyptian's house for the sake of Joseph; thus the LORD's blessing was upon all that he owned, in the house and in the field.”

The right move in your life would definitely bring you blessings!  Potiphar took the right decision in recruiting the right person to take care of his house and over all that he owned – no small job though – which involved lot of responsibilities.  God put it in his heart to select Joseph who at that point of time was in a broken state: thrown into a pit by his own brothers, separated from his home, dad and loved ones, sold as a slave and brought to a strange country with different language, culture and faith.  This was no small affliction and ordeal for 17 year old Joseph; however, MARK THIS, when Potiphar showed love to Joseph and also made him his personal servant, God started blessing Potiphar, in all directions.  Did you hear this: in all directions? Oh yeah, when you obey God and help the abandoned and suffering child of God, you are sure to receive God’s blessings in all directions! Mark this!

Today in the assembly, God put it in my heart to teach Deuteronomy 28:6 "Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out.” Yes, when you obey God, you will be blessed in all directions! I taught them both in telugu and English and said when your parents are under stress in the morning, tell this scripture to them and bless them.  I advise you to do that too; nevertheless, this blessing can be claimed only when we move in the right direction, obey God and help his children.  Joseph’s stay in the Egyptian prison was a transit period from where he would be taking over the plum position to rule Egypt, but he needed help at the age of 17.  Is anybody listening?  When three girls had to drop out of school because their father’s business had collapsed and they moved in to Hyderabad (where I stay) to run a small business of selling plants on the road side, the 3 children were taken by Abide School and immediately free uniforms, books and other essential things were given, the children are doing very well in studies now.  As they move on in life, they would surely remember ABIDE SCHOOL that helped them in the low ebb of their life.  (Click HERE for the pic of the children)

Not this family but many families have been blessed through our free education, I would encourage you to sow into our ministries and help us bless these poor children, we have our upcoming SUMMER PROGRAM for the children called the HOLIDAY PATASHAALA and then the new academic year in June, where lot of funds are required to run the school.  Mark this, when you help the poor, you will be blessed in all directions!
