Mathew 18:4"Whoever then humbles himself as this child, he is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.”

It’s 1 am midnight as I type this on my laptop, I am spending this night reading His Word and praying, I received the above scripture during the time of my prayer, hence I wanted to share with you’ll.

If the statements of Jesus does not revolutionize our life then the truth is, we have not gone deep into it, are you listening?  One should go berserk after reading the Bible, that’s what the Bible does to you, the words are so powerful, read:  "Is not my word like fire," declares the LORD, "and like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces?”(Jeremiah 23:29)  While I was reading the Bible after my miraculous healing and birth of my son Joshua, the Words went deep into the dark crevices of my heart and exposed stuff which I did not know myself, I wept and wept  in the quietness of the night and confessed my sins to God, He washed me with His Word and still washing……  The above scripture today, kind of halted me and instantly I knew God was speaking to me:  “ humbling oneself like a little child!” Great asking!

I see this every day in my school as I watch little kids come back even if when they are scolded, such is their innocence.  How is our heart?  Today the world is stinking with pride, ego and selfishness – humility is remembered no more! Parents who are eager to build up self-esteem and confidence in their children end up making their children proud without humility, they hardly even know the spelling of the word h-u-m-b-l-e, is anybody there?

I had been to a particular church to preach , two families of that church, who were influential as well as wealthy were having a tiff over a church banner that was to be displayed in the church platform – each one had different views so they were arguing with the pastor to accept their views; none of them were ready to give in, where is the teaching of Jesus on humility gone? Can anybody tell me.  To my shock, one particular young pastor came and harshly asked me why he was not given opening prayer , sadly the book he published did not work out and he had to stop it.  Mathew 20:26”…whoever wishes to become great among you shall be your servant..”

“A great man is always willing to be little.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson
