I am just delighted to send an article written by my daughter, Shalina Samson, B.tech,MBA., today, read and be blessed; also you can get into her blog to read more which I have given towards the end. She resigned her job two years back and is now serving the Lord alongwith us.

Isaiah 60:15 "Whereas you have been forsaken and hated With no one passing through, I will make you an everlasting pride, A joy from generation to g

I believe depression is not an illness which many people think it is, personally to have gone through that path I can say that depression is a feeling of rejection, dejection and oppression which the devil brings to kill us. I remember those days when I used to cry myself to sleep; after a series of failures and rejection I found myself caught up with these voices on my head that discouraged me and said that I had no purpose to live. The emptiness grew big day by day when I finally decided to end my life; now this is the plan of the devil.

If you are a person who has such thoughts let me tell you that they are from the enemy. He makes you feel unwanted, unloved; depression usually follows some failure, breakup, demise of a loved one etc.; he makes use of that situation and tells you that “it’s over.”

My dear people, it’s not over; no matter what path you are going through, there is light at the end of the tunnel. Don’t let people decide your happiness; Isaiah 2:22 says “Stop trusting mere humans, who have put a breath in their nostrils. Why hold them in esteem?”

Let me give you a small love note from Jesus, “Though you were once despised and hated and rebuffed by all, you will be beautiful forever. You will be a joy to all generations, for I will make you so “Isaiah 60:15. Let all the other voices in your mind be replaced by this heavenly voice; it did in my life and I am more happy now, than when many people were around me. The devil is a liar, don’t give up too soon; what you see and hear now will pass on and better days are yet to come.
