As good as dead

Romans 4:19 “Abraham did not weaken in faith when he considered his own body which was  as good as dead since he was about a hundred years old.”

Now what happens if you have a great loss in your business, if the doctor has declared that you will not be able to have babies, your accident has made you motionless, the job looks unattainable, health and doctor’s report state no hope, vision looks dead and the marriage seems to be worthless? It is now that you got to operate in supernatural faith because our Heavenly Father has not stopped with Abraham, He is still in the business of blessing us.  Give God a mighty hand of praise, will you? He is worthy!

Don’t keep staring too hard at something that looks dead, it can even be your husband who is an atheist, keep focusing on the Word of God that says, ‘ nothing is too hard for God’, anybody hearing me now?  You weaken in faith because you have not read His Word, you weaken in faith because you have stopped talking and walking with God.  You get strength through God.  Wake up! Warm up!  Get ready to possess your blessings.

Abraham did not consider his body that was as good as dead, did you hear that?  When the doctor  told me, ‘you can never have this baby, so terminate this five months pregnancy’, I  heard a another voice whisper, “If only you have faith as small as the mustard seed, you can command the mountain to move from here to there and it will be done.  Nothing will be impossible for you.”(Mathew 17:20) What a Word!  I listened to the latter voice and refused to abort my baby. Listen, whenever you to decide to walk in faith that is incomprehensible to the world and ordinary people then they would resist and oppose; nevertheless, stand bold and firm now.  Nobody could make me budge from my stern decision, I held on to God and His Word, went against doctors, family members and friends and stood firm to deliver the baby.  There was war at home! If you want the miracle, get ready for battle!  Today that ‘miracle’ is studying second year in Bible college, scoring good marks, sings in the choir and his name is JOSHUA!  Today Joshua tells me, ‘ ma, if I have to tell my testimony, it’s all about how you stood firm for God!’ Ah, see that!
