Look up

Psalm 121:1”I will lift up my eyes to the mountains; From where shall my help come? 2 My help comes from the LORD..”

Look up from where your help comes!
If you are in pain, look up
If you are lonely, look up
If you have been betrayed, look up
If you feel rejected, look up
If you feel weak, look up
If you feel defeated, look up
If you feel like downloading
your emotions, look up!

I type this message midnight 1.30 am during my night prayer with the Lord, after spending several hours at His Feet, I sit to reveal the insight I got in His presence – just couldn’t wait till morning.  However, I had prayed several days prior to this day, for this strength to sit in His presence through the night and God did bestow His strength in me. (night prayer is not new though for me, yet with my busy schedule, I was finding it difficult to give an entire night, but victoriously made it today)  Let me share my thoughts, around two weeks back a student who was very close to our heart betrayed us by stealing, lying and copying at school, simultaneously during this time, three other children also let us down drastically; all this kind of zapped my energy a lot and I was very bitter about the students who deceived us.  While I was finding ways to deal with my emotions, I decided to sit in His presence – BANG – came the remedy.  I wonder if you would believe if I tell you that the Living Water flowed all over me, after my first hour in His presence.  Suddenly I was praying for the children who betrayed me very badly, I was able to forgive and a heavy burden lifted off my shoulders.  Glory to Jesus! As I was meditating the scriptures, I came cross the verse: Ezekiel 47: 9”…everything will live where the river goes…”

I encourage you today to boost your prayer life, set aside a specific time to sit in His presence with Bible reading , do not compromise this for anything in this world. When you do this, God takes care of ‘stuff’ that has been ruining your peace and joy.  Apostle Paul rightly says: Philippians 4:6”Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Just open up your heart to God!
