Safe inside the palace

Acts 23:35”….Jews formed a conspiracy and bound themselves under an oath, saying that they would neither eat nor drink until they had killed Paul.”

The murkiest secrets plotted against you would be revealed if you are safe under the shelter of the Most High! Are you listening? Don’t you dare move away from  the presence of God and get mugged by the devils, stay close to Him. You can never be ambushed by the enemy if you are in His Arms!

The Lord spoke to me very clearly on a day when our family and School were facing severe attacks by the enemy, the devil was threatening me through phone calls from a particular student family, who were thrown out of school for misbehavior; however, the Lord promised His protection while I was reading the above chapter on a day of fasting and prayer.  I offer my findings on this topic and may you be encouraged too today, if you are facing some kind of threats in your life.

Now let us look at the scripture, 40 Jews planned, prepared and plotted to kill Paul since everything else failed, they planned neither to drink nor eat until they kill Paul.  The evil plan was discussed with the chief priests and elders, who shamelessly agree with them because of their envy and hatred towards Paul. BUT GOD…..I like this phrase…………BUT GOD…..ah……whatever may be the evil devices of the enemy against you……BUT GOD IS THERE FOR YOU TO SAVE AND GIVE YOU VICTORY! Say Amen.  Paul’s nephew gets to hear this evil plot, he ventures into the barracks to meet Paul and gave him the news of the murder plot who in turn requests the centurion to take his nephew for an appointment with the commander.  Paul gets favor with the officers, can you see the Hands of God on Paul?  I have to give you the details of the ‘fleet of army’ Paul the prisoner ( endure these titles before you get the favorable entitlements and privileges , v 18, later this Paul is referred to as APOSTLE PAUL) gets from the commander: “ two hundred soldiers ready by the third hour of the night to proceed to Caesarea, with seventy horsemen and two hundred spearmen. 24 They were also to provide mounts to put Paul on and bring him safely to Felix the governor.”

Finally Paul was kept a prisoner in Herod’s judgment-hall, in some apartment belonging to that palace which was denominated from Herod the Great, who built it. Though a prison, yet, Paul was safe inside the PALACE! God is your refuge!

I signoff with a note here for you:” You may not have arrived at your final victory post yet; nevertheless, you would be guarded at every leg of the journey!” Bala Samson
