It’s gonna be alright…

Isaiah 3:10”Say to the righteous that it will go well with them, For they will eat the fruit of their actions.”

The above scripture had blessed me like crazy and I’m sure it would bless you too!  The very thought that ‘all your good deeds: that includes your strict punctuality to church, office and other appointments, kindness, gentleness, everything is noted by God and would be rewarded.  Isn’t that lovely?  On August 31, while I was sitting at my table, I was thinking of a two brothers studying in our school, who are very punctual to school and also never take leave, so I felt they should be rewarded this quarter.  I immediately requested the teacher to take a list of other children too, who had not taken leave for the first quarter of this year, we pulled a list of around 15 children who were prompt to school and they were nominated for rewards.  Likewise dear friends, your good deeds would never be forgotten by God, you would be recognized and applauded too!

Listen, the scripture says, ‘say to the righteous’, so this blessing is not for all for but for the righteous; are you there?  Who are the righteous anyway?  I am not talking about the goody..goody ones or the self-righteous people but the ones who cling to Jesus and say, ‘I just cannot make it without you, stay with me Daddy!’  This afternoon I read the scripture that said, “…he who receives a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward.”( Mathew 10:41)  Such is the blessing on the head of a righteous person, these people are the ones who do not want to deviate from the ways of God or displease God, they would rather die than hurt the Holy Spirit.

For the last several years, we had to face many situations where people forced us to give tips (bribe) so that we receive favor for a particular job – but we aggressively refused and stood for God in the midst of this wicked world.  Not easy though, we were/we are harassed, humiliated, ignored and mocked for staying true to God and we never spare the opportunity of sharing the Gospel with the people of why we do this, though.  I got to mention the ‘candy’ we receive for being righteous, the Bible says, “..they will eat the fruit of their actions.”  Wow! The LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.(Psalm 121:8)
