Let nothing move you

1 Corinthians 15:58 “Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you…”

I enthusiastically travelled to a city for meeting, suddenly they said, ‘let’s cancel the meeting’, but with a pounding heart I firmly said, ‘no, we will hold the meeting.’  Listen, when you are headstrong for God, not everybody would endorse your fierce enthusiasm.  Well, that night I did not even take wink of sleep but prayed for the next day meeting.  God watched my efforts, tears and my battle and blessed the meeting – the place was full.  ( I am talking about something that happened several years ago) I not only preach but also cook for the entire crowd, I was the chief cook with my entire family pitching in with cutting vegetables and other stuff.  Never assume setting captives free is small job – devil concocts to sabotage the efforts.  I fight many battles before going up the platform to preach and after I coming down too; nevertheless, those warfare has become my experience to teach others.  Everything that happens in your life has purpose and value attached to it!

We conduct our own annual ‘fire camps’ for making soldiers for Christ, held for people in the ministry, people in leadership roles and also for people aspiring to serve the Lord in His vineyard. One can never do this without hand-on experience; battles actually equip you for leadership roles.  Behind every trophy are hidden battles and pain unknown to others!   This message is for warriors and brave  soldiers; take up the challenge when the going is tough.

Someone said, "The first person through a wall always gets bloody", those words are  so inspiring.  Imagine an ‘ex-banker’ walking in the streets looking for rag pickers children and wanting to educate them, this was the most weird idea on earth for people all around me.  I had 7 children and I called that a school – this invited more criticism, when I watched people already established and running schools, it was daunting. But I was willing to get bloody! Anybody listening?  Through this article, I want to encourage and push people to enter arenas where others feared!

For those of you who do not know our ministry, this is what we do, we have our church called SHILOH REVIVAL CHURCH, we run a free Government recognized school for the poor with food and other essentials called ABIDE SCHOOL (click to view) and ABIDE ANGEL HOME  that offers free hostel and food for poor children . Dreaming is no big deal, everyone can dream but having the guts to get up and start executing those plans are the true winners in life!
